Innovative Communications and Organizational Executive

Juan Elizondo is an innovative communications and organizational executive serving a wide range of public, private, for-profit, and nonprofit organizations. He started his 30-year career as a reporter for The Associated Press. He went on to work as a political reporter and editor for the Austin American-Statesman before becoming a senior editor and business leader for Cox East Texas Newspapers and the Dallas Business Journal. 
 
Juan also has worked for TXU Energy, the National Math and Science Initiative, and The New Teacher Project in roles ranging from senior communication consultant to Vice President of External Affairs, Marketing & Communications. His work focuses on effective storytelling, strategic communications, organizational planning, and team development.
 
Through professional and volunteer work, Juan has dedicated himself to connecting communities, families, and children with the resources they need to ensure authentic choices and achieve lifelong long success in their personal and professional lives. He has served as a director for Texas CASA, a volunteer for NETWORK of Community Ministries, and an adult leader for BSA.
 
Juan lives in Far North Dallas with his wife, Susan. They are the proud parents of two young adults.
