Joe Williams is a Consulting Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Business Development Executive with vcfo, a professional services firm, offering financial, recruiting and human resources services.

Joe has 30+ years of financial experience in public accounting firms, large corporations, and private companies, including 20+ years as a CFO for start-ups and well established multi-generational businesses. He has experience auditing governmental and non-profit organizations as well as working in public and private businesses in the retail, grocery, manufacturing, hospitality, meetings, events, and HVAC/plumbing/electrical industries.

Working with key stakeholders and business owners throughout his career, Joe formulates and implements business strategies, financial processes, and controls that build corporate value. He is respected as a broad, strategic thinker who quickly assesses critical issues and implements action plans that mitigate risk, strengthen liquidity, reduce operating costs, and facilitate organic and inorganic growth. With a hands-on approach, an unrelenting work ethic, and open communications, he works across all levels of the organization to foster collaboration, build trust, and develop high-performing teams that strive to create a culture of success.

Joe is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and graduated with a BA in Accounting from Texas A&M University. In addition to serviceing as a Board Member for Journey of Hope, since 2007 Joe has served in leadership roles with Boy Scouts of America, teaching and mentoring hundreds of youngsters, currently serving as Winter Camp Director. For 13+ years, he also served on the City of Lucas Planning and Zoning Board.

A hiker, hunter, and camper, Joe also cares for a horse, miniature donkey, and miniature cows. He and his wife, Tonya, are loyal Aggies and never miss a Texas A&M home game.
